Challenge: To create a landing page for small, independently owned restaurants who aren’t yet DoorDash Partners. Two options were requested for the headline and call to action (CTA).
Goal: To get restaurant owners to sign up to become a partner restaurant, to talk to expert 24/7 support rather than abandon the page, and ultimately, to increase the number of small, independently-run restaurants offered on DoorDash.
Solution: I used kitchen jargon and restaurant lingo to create a friendly environment and thereby offset the skepticism of the target audience. Using familiar language to put them at ease supports the professional-casual tone of the brand. All sections of the copy pointed back to the goals.
