Challenge: To create a landing page for a sweepstakes where college students can enter to win a college-long supply of Cheetos.
Goal: To collect data, to promote the contest (and brand) on social media, and to build or reinforce brand loyalty.
Solution: The language I used maintained the brand’s tone: cheeky, bold, and fun, just like Chester Cheetah. I also used familiar buzz words from the company’s previous marketing campaigns, like “dangerously cheesy,” for consistency in the brand’s voice. My word choice was geared to the target demographic, ensuring readers knew this sweepstakes was for college students specifically.
